What is sperm banking?

 

Sperm banking is a facility meant for the artificial storage of the sperms; of a male by the intention to acquire fertility from it in the near future.

 

What exactly you do in sperm banking?

 

Once if you decide that you want to bank your sperms, all the necessary documentation and formalities are first done where you get a detail counseling session after submission of require fees. 

After that you can decide whether to bank your sperms or not and the other things associated.

 

For collection of your sperms you will be asked to ejaculate your sperms at our facility in a container provided to you.

 

Your sperms are then immediately sent in our lab for processing and preservation purpose. 

Finally, your sperms are stored under -196 degree centigrade. At this temp they can be preserved till infinity.

 

Who shall bank the sperms ?

 

Basically cancer patients of young age group or the person who will not be able to produce his sperms after certain medical procedure or therapy are encouraged to bank their sperms.

 

We suggest that any one can bank his own sperm if wish to do so. Especially peoples working under high temperature like drivers, factory workers, etc. Persons those are constantly exposed to the radiation like X-ray technician’s, Welder’s, etc. should bank shall bank their own sperms

 

Also, a person born after having recurrent abortion history to his mother. 

Cases in which the persons parents faced infertility in any respect where the genetic cause either known or not known (For more details fix your genetic counseling session).

 

Pricing ?

 

Once you decide to bank your sperm the things comes to the cost for banking the sperms.

 

Pricing is done under two different heads:

1. Processing fees (Charged for processing and storing hence charged once)

2. Banking fees (Charged on Annual Basis)

 

The said fees is applicable for each time you wish to go for sperm banking. 

 

An IUI process requires on an average 6 cycles to get fertility. Hence we recommend you to store at-least 6-12 cycles to get a good out come whenever required.

How many times I have to visit your facility for the process?

 

It depends upon you how much ejaculations you want to bank.

 

A nice ejaculation comes when you atleast have 3 days of abstinence. Hence, you will have to visit our facility as per the storage you decide.

 

Any special instructions for diet?

 

Yes, once you decide to bank your sperms our doctors and counselors will help your with your diet and other necessary things. (As per Ayurgenomic approach your diet must be modified at-least 7 days prior to preservation.)
